An unannounced focused inspection was conducted 11/28/2023 from 1:30pm through 2:30pm. There were 40 children present with 7 staff and all classrooms were in ratio. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, nutrition, 3 staff records, attendance, and diapering procedures were inspected. Children were observed napping throughout the inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-80-A Description: REPEAT VIOLATION
Based on review of the written attendance, the center did not maintain a written record of daily attendance for each group of children that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence: In the Three's classroom, there were 6 children signed in on the written attendance, however, there were 8 children present at the time of inspection.Plan of Correction: Extra training to be sure the teacher receiving students from the bus checks them in on Brightwheel.
