Technical Assistance:
As discussed, please remind staff to refill the paper towel dispenser with paper towels rather than place a new roll on top to ensure children have access to the paper towels.

Discussed the importance of ensuring that either parents or staff update the attendance record at each arrival or departure.

Comments:
An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 54 children with 9 staff were onsite today. A total of 5 classrooms were occupied today. The children had finished lunch and was transitioning to naptime. The school aged children in the Children's House classrooms were moved to another classroom and the remainder of the children ages 3 and 4 were combined for nap time. Observation of all 5 classrooms was conducted. Some medication onsite and was also reviewed. A total of 5 staff files and 3 children's files were reviewed. Some violations were found during the inspection today. All were reviewed with the Head of School. This inspection occurred between 12pm and 3pm today. Thank you for your cooperation today. 1.The attendance record for Classroom #1 showed a total of 17 children currently in attendance.

3. The record of attendance did not include the departure of 3 children from Classroom #1.

Description: Based on observation of the toddler playground, resilient surfacing does not comply with the minimum safety standards.
Evidence:
The fall zone located at the base of the slide did not have sufficient resilient surfacing. A minimum depth of six inches of resilient surfacing was not maintained.

In Classroom #7, a receptacle used to dispose of soiled diapers required staff to use their hands to open the top of the receptacle.
