An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director on December 7, 2023, beginning at 12:28pm and ending at 2:14pm. There were 62 children, ages 16 months through 6 years old, in the care of 9 direct care staff. The children were observed taking naps or quietly reading or doing work. Five children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed and in compliance. Two medications were reviewed and in compliance. The menu, daily attendance, and emergency drill log were reviewed. The most recent practice emergency escape drill was documented as 11/3/2023. The most recent practice shelter-in-place drill was documented as 6/9/2023. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 10/6/2022. The most recent health inspection was dated 9/28/2022. The most recent fire inspection was dated 2/27/2023.
