An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director on December 7, 2023, beginning at 9:50am and ending at 11:21am. There were 37 children, ages 2 years 6 months through 6 years old, in the care of 6 direct care staff. The children were observed playing with age-appropriate toys and working on art projects. Six children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed and in compliance. Two medications were reviewed and in compliance. The menu, daily attendance, and emergency drill log were reviewed. The most recent practice emergency escape drill was documented as 11/20/2023. The most recent practice shelter-in-place drill was documented as 11/3/2023. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 10/12/2023. The most recent health inspection was dated 8/30/2023. The most recent fire inspection was dated 8/22/2023.
