Discussed the need for the center to get background checks for volunteers if they are used in ratio in the classroom or left alone with the children.
- Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/8/2024 at 14:30 and lasted until 15:30. The center had 24 children in care at the time of the inspection with 6 staff in 3 groupings. Observed nap time, snack time and free play. The center has lots of supplies and space for the children to explore. Discussed adding a shade sail or umbrellas to the playground, last year the shade cover collected a lot of rain water, Reviewed 3 staff records and 5 children's records. Discussed the possibility of getting background checks for the volunteers so they could be counted in ratio. No violations cited at this inspection.
