Discussed including teacher's qualifications for their positions in their staff record. The qualifications required by licensing for each position can be found in the standards.
Discussed that no less than two staff members shall be on premises at all times. Break times are not considered working hours and even if staff remain in the facility they are not counted in the working staff.
Staff who are working and counted in the minimum staff requirements may not leave the licensed space.
Discussed that the "Supplemental" page of the licensing inspection contains confidential information and should not be posted.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today to ensure compliance with the Intensive Plan of Correction (IPOC) that was entered into with the Department of Education on 10/11/2023.
The facility is not in compliance with the IPOC.
Another violation was cited that was not part of IPOC; however, found to be out of compliance during the inspection.

Based on record review, staff records did not contain all required information.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-340-C Description: Based on observation and staff statements there was not always present one staff member who meets the qualifications of a program leader or program director and an immediately available staff member, volunteer or other employee who is at least 16 years of age, with direct means for communication between the two of them.

1. At the beginning of the inspection Staff 2 was the only staff member on the premises. One child was in care at this time.
