A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was completed on January 29, 2024.There were 11 children present with 4 staff supervising and 1 administrative staff on site. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on review of staff record and interview, the center did not ensure all staff obtain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as required.
Evidence:
1. In Staff#1's record, there was no current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation found.
2. Interview with staff confirmed documentation for CPR was not available for review during the inspection.Plan of Correction: The Director will schedule staff for course as soon as available.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-2 Description: Based on review of staff records and interview, the center did not ensure all staff obtained a current certification in first aid appropriate to the ages of children in care.
