Today an unannounced monitoring inspection took place between the hours of 9:50am and 12:00pm. There were 3 classrooms observed with a total of 27 children with 6 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed eating morning snacks brough from home, participating in 'community helper' center activities, completing a science experiment using valentine candy hearts and other organized activities. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. No violations were found during todays inspection.
