The center self reported a situation involving a two year old child being left unattended on their playground for a few minutes. Based on interviews conducted on 2/6/24 there was one violation involving a lack of sight and sound supervision. The violation is outlined on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-340-F Description: Based on interviews, it was determined that the center failed to maintain sight and sound supervision of a child under 10 years of age.
Evidence:
On 1/26/24 at approximately 11:45 am, child #1 ( DOB 8/15/21) was left alone on the fenced playground while staff #1 and staff #2 and 9- two year old children left the playground and returned to their classroom. Two additional staff inside the center observed child #1 outside alone and returned the child to their two year old classroom. Interviews revealed that the child was left unattended between 1 to 2 minutes.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
