An unannounced renewal inspection was started and ended on 02/07/24 from 11:45am until 12:40. Staff records were reviewed at the main office in the morning. There were 7 children and three staff present.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two staff records and 5 children?s records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Evidence:
Their were no triangular bandages in the first aid kit.Plan of Correction: Bandages will be ordered for the center.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-540-E Description: Based on observation and interview, the center did not have all the required nonmedical supplies.
Evidence:
The flashlight did not have the correct sized batteries for the flashlight, staff confirmed this.Plan of Correction: The correct sized batteries will be ordered for the center.
