1. Discussed the sex offender registry background search requirements.

Conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection at 10:50am. Observed 28 children + 6 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed in a variety of activities to include drawing, painting, playing with puzzles and toys, and having active outdoor play. Classrooms were found to be clean, decorated with art made by the children and sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. No areas of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed were found. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov
