A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated was conducted on February 14, 2024 from 10:20 A.M.-1:15 P.M. There were 21 children present with four staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F Description: Based on review of staff records and training documentation, the center failed to ensure that the annual health and safety update was completed annually.
Evidence:
Staff #1,#2,#3, and #4 did not have documentation of the Annual Health and Safety Update training being completed in 2023.Plan of Correction: All staff members have been informed of the updated training and will complete the training.
