An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on December 14 2023 between 11:15am and 12:30pm. There were 18 children in the direct care of 4 staff members. Children were observed participating in classroom activities, creative play, completing puzzles, and playing outside. Staff records, child records, emergency drills, facility inspections, and the physical plant was reviewed and inspected. Violations are listed on the violation notice. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A Description: Based on record review, the center did not ensure that each staff member submits documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening within 30 days prior to hire.
Evidence:
Staff #1 record has a documented date of a negative tuberculosis screening dated July 10, 2022. Staff #1 hire date was documented as October 2, 2023.
