A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 2/27/2024.There were 94 children present with 12 staff supervising and 2 administrators. The children were observed during morning circle time, teacher led activities, free play, and snack time. A total of 9 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:20 am and concluded at 11:30 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-B-4 Description: Based on observation and staff interview the licensee did not ensure to maintain required staff-to-children ratios whenever children are in care.
Evidence: The required ratio for 3 year old children is 1 staff for every 10 children. The following classrooms were out of ratio at the time of the inspection.
1. Room #108 there were 11 children present with 1 staff member.
2. Room #110 there were 11 children present with 1 staff member.Plan of Correction: Administrators will monitor classes more closely to ensure proper ratios.
