A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted today between 8:00am and 9:15am. There were 26 children present with 3 caregivers supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on review of staff records, not all staff have a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence
Staff #1 dis not have a current certification in CPR to review during the inspection.Plan of Correction: Staff has taken the class but has not received their card yet. We followed up on 2/20/24 requesting the card to be sent.
