Comments:
A Renewal inspection was conducted today. A total of 59 children with 9 staff were observed within 5 occupied classroom. Some classrooms were re-arranged to accommodate the newly added infant (Nido) classroom. Observation of all 5 classroom, playground and common areas was made. Some transitions from outside to inside was observed along with circle time that included staff reading books to children. Handwashing prior to lunch was observed. A total of 8 staff files and 5 children files were reviewed. Several violations were found today. Some included maintenance of your building and areas of diaper disposal. The previous violations from the last inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. One repeated violation found today. This inspection occurred between 10am and 1:30pm. Description: Based on child record review, documentation that a child has received the immunizations required by the State Board of Health were not obtained before the child began care.
Evidence:
Child #1 began care on 02/28/2024. Documentation of immunizations were not found.

Description: Based on observation of the center, a record was not treated confidentially.
Evidence:
An incident record containing a child's name and confidential information was found accessible and visible in Room #2.

Room #5's disposal receptacle does not prevent hands from touching the exterior surface when disposing soiled diapers.

Description: Based on observation of the center, staff failed to sit with a child during meal time.
Evidence:
A child was eating and drinking at a table in Room #7. Two staff were present and were sitting in a circle with the remaining children in the classroom.
