Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on March 5, 2024, to determine the compliance with licensing standards. The inspector was on site from approximately 10:00 AM until 1:45 PM. There were 115 children present with 21 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed playing on the playground, listening to a story, playing with various age-appropriate materials, and interacting with staff. A total of 11 children records, and 9 staff records were reviewed. Additional staff records were reviewed remotely on March 5, 2024.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventive measure(s).

Description: Based on observation and staff interviews, the center did not ensure to maintain, in a way that is accessible to all staff who work with children, a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions. This list shall be dated and kept confidential in each room or area where children are present.
Evidence:
1. In the yellow classroom, the allergy and dietary restrictions list was posted on the outside of a cabinet in the classroom and was not kept confidential.

Description: (Repeat Violation) Based on observation, the center did not ensure areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, were maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.

Evidence:
1. In the green classroom, there were soft blocks that were torn exposing the inside materials, presenting a choking hazard.

Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, insecticides and pesticides shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

1. In the yellow classroom, there was an unlocked cabinet under the changing table. This cabinet contained 1 bottle of Purell Surface Disinfectant.

Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that diaper cream was not accessible to children.
Evidence:
