The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies. A total of five children?s records and the five staff?s records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-M
Description: Based on observation and interview, the center failed to ensure a current written confidential list of all children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions were accessible to all staff who work with children in each room or area where children are present.

Evidence:

The classroom for child 1 was observed and an allergy list could not be found. The teacher stated they do not have an allergy list in the classroom.

Plan of Correction: The allergy list will be posted.
