There were 53 children present, ranging in ages from five months to five years, with ten staff supervising. Children were just getting up from nap at the inspector?s arrival. Later children were observed washing their hands and preparing for snack. Children listened to a story during snack. One class had a cooking activity and made kale chips. Infants were playing on the floor mats with toys and books. Staff sat with children and interacted in a positive manner. Diapering procedures were also observed. Children had center play and time on the playground. The inspector interacted with staff and children in care.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five
