Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on March 25, 2024, from 10:15am-11:30am. At the time of entrance, (1 ) child was in care with (2 ) staff members present. The inspector reviewed 1 child's record and 2 staff records. Child was observed playing with puzzles. No medications . Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. Repeat violation was found and is identified within this report.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-240-B
Description: Repeat violation:
Based on a review of staff records, 2 staff have not completed the required orientation Child Abuse and Neglect training no later than 7 days of the date of assuming job responsibility.
Evidence: Staff #1, date of hire 10/16/2023 and #2, date of hire 1/10/2024 does not have documentation of certification training for Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect training.

Plan of Correction: Both staff will complete the training.
