A monitoring inspection was initiated on 03/20/2024 and concluded on 03/20/2024 from 10:58 AM to 1:30 PM. There were 13 children present, ranging in ages from 2 to 4 years, with 4 staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies. A total of five children?s records and the two staff?s records were reviewed/updated.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: Based on a review of records, the center failed to obtain an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.
Evidence:
1. The record of the annual fire inspection is dated 06/18/2022.
2. Administration could not locate the updated inspection for 2023.Plan of Correction: I am going to contact the fire department and get an new inspection.
