An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/26/2024 from 12:00pm to 1:15pm. At the time of the inspection there were 3 children in care and 2 staff members. Children were observed napping. Records were reviewed for 3 children and 2 staff members. Evacuation drills, emergency supplies and other required records and postings were also reviewed. There was no medication on site during this inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice and discussed during the exit interview.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A Description: Based on record review and interview, it was determined the center did not ensure that each staff member had documentation of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening that was completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment and be signed by a physician, physician's designee, or an official of the local health department.
