A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 4/10/2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on record review, 1 of 3 staff did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence:
1. Staff #3 reported they began employment in May 2018.
2. The center did not have documentation of current certification in CPR for Staff #3Plan of Correction: Staff is providing support as a substitute and will bring the information to the school tomorrow.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-2 Description: Based on record review, 1 of 3 staff did not have current certification in first aid.
