Technical Assistance:
During inspection vendor discussed the importance of continuing the routine of emergency practice to ensure children are prepared.

Comments:
On 10/21/20 a virtual Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the inspector was not on site and the inspection was completed via mobile video application as well as phone and email correspondence. During inspection the home and emergency supplies and procedures were inspected. Child, vendor and household member records were reviewed. One child was present, observed playing freely directly supervised by vendor. Violations are indicated in the violation report. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-A-1
Description: Based on documentation review and interview with vendor it was determine that evacuation procedures were not practiced at least monthly.

Evidence: During inspection documentation of monthly evacuations was not available. Also, vendor stated that drills were not practiced due to fear of the COVID virus.

Plan of Correction: I will find a way to practice with the children.
