Technical Assistance:
Vendor stated she has been closed since end of February.
Household members need backgrounds checks at 14 years of age and 18 years of age.

Comments:
This annual subsidy inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Preliminary data was obtained from the vendor on November 12, 2020.
-An annual subsidy inspection was initiated on November 18, 2020, at which time the vendor was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection, and concluded on November 19, 2020 when the Vendor did not send back the documents via text. The inspector explained over the phone that a picture of February's attendance and her CPR card were need to be sent by text and emailed the vendor the inspection.
The vendor reported there were no children in care and no children living in the home under the age of 12 present with the vendor. The inspector observed the home and set up.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Guidelines and did not receive the requested info from the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.

Description: Based on request, it was determined the vendor did not maintain a written attendance record for the children in her care back in February.
Evidence:
1. Vendor stated the last time children were in her care was end of February. Vendor stated the week of February 27 and was asked to send a copy via text to the Inspector on November 18.
2. As of November 19, the vendor did not produce the document to the Inspector to verify a written hard copy had been maintained.
3. Vendor stated she is closed and has not watched children since end of February.
