22VAC40-665 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

Comments:
This annual subsidy inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Preliminary data was obtained from the vendor on December 15, 2020. An annual subsidy inspection was initiated on December 16, 2020, at which time the vendor was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection, and concluded on December 16, 2020. The inspector emailed the vendor a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The vendor reported there were 3 children in care and 1 was a child living in the home under the age of 12 present with the vendor for a total of 4 supervision points. The inspector reviewed children?s records and adult/household member records and other records submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations. The home was observed as well as the materials available for the children. The Vendor has a menu for the children and has set up procedures to check children's temperatures.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for
Child Care programs. The information gathered during the inspection determined no areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and no violations were issued. Please call with any questions 703-479-4679
