Discussed Covid Guidelines and Importance of Notification in the event of exposure.

Comments:
This annual subsidy inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Preliminary data was obtained from the vendor on January 7, 2021.
An annual subsidy inspection was completed on January 8, 2021, at which time the vendor was contacted by video call observe and concluded on that day. The inspector emailed the vendor a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The vendor reported there were 3 children in care and no children living in the home under the age of 12 present with the vendor. The inspector reviewed children?s records and 1 adult/household member records submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for
Child Care programs.
Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor. Please call with questions 703-479-4679

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-B
Description: Based on interview and record review, it was determined each child's information did not include a sick policy agreement.
Evidence:
1. Vendor had various documents to show regarding maintaining children's information but was unable to locate that information for 3 out of 3 children.

Plan of Correction: I thought I had something but could not find it to show. If I don't find the sick child policy, I will use the sample form given to me.
