An annual CCE inspection was conducted on today's date. The center has 12 children in care with 3 classroom staff. All groupings are in ratio. The center has rooms with lots of space and supplies for the children to explore. Currently bottles for infants are kept in the kitchen requiring the director to fetch the bottles and making it hard for staff to feed children on demand. Discussed adding small refrigerators in classrooms and also discussed installing a key pad lock for parents to enter the building. Observed the children doing drawing and playing and lunch time. Interaction between staff and children observed in all the groupings. Please call me at 703-203-8659 if you have any questions regarding this inspection. This inspection was started at 10:10 and ended at 1:10

Standard #: 63.2-1716-B-1 Description: Based on the review of the guidelines , the center fails to require the staff to wash the children's hands with soap and water after diapering. Evidence: According to the director the staff use wipes to clean the babies hands after diapering instead of soap and water. Plan of Correction: I will discuss with the staff.
