This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, including phone interview, records review, and virtual observations. An on-site inspection was not conducted at this time.
An unannounced subsidy inspection was conducted at 12:25pm. The vendor was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were 2 children present = 6 points with the vendor at the time of the inspection. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. There was also an adult household member and child household member present. The daycare was sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for children, and appeared clean and organized today. Information gathered during the inspection determined there was an area of non-compliance with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-230-H Description: Based on communications received from the vendor, required annual training has not been completed. Evidence: The vendor did not complete the Virginia Annual Health + Safety class in the last 12 months. The last verified date of class completion was 6/28/19. Plan of Correction: The inspector will send the vendor the class registration information, and the vendor will take the class in the next 30-days, and every year following.
