A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on July 19, 2022, between 11:00am and 12:30pm. There were 2 children present with 1 provider/vendor supervising. The physical plant, policies and procedures, emergency supplies and procedures, 2 children's records, 1 provider/vendor record and 2 household member records were reviewed. The exit interview was conducted with the provider/vendor. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-390-E Description: Based on observation, the diapering surface is not being cleaned with a solution of soap and water, pat dried with a single use disposable towel, then sprayed or dipped with a solution of bleach and water and allowed to air dry.
Evidence
Diaper wipes are being used to clean the diapering surface after a diaper change.Plan of Correction: I will clean and sanitize the diaper pad after each use with soap/water and then bleach/water.
