An unannounced inspection was conducted today at 2 PM. The Vendor was present with 2 enrolled children and her own grandchildren which reside in the home for a total of 15 points. The Vendor has training and emergency drills recorded. The Vendor has equipment and materials for the children and children were observed playing. Please call me with questions 703 479-4679

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-180-B Description: Based on observation and record review, it was found the Vendor did not record attendance on this date to document the arrival of each child present.
Evidence:
1. There were 2 children receiving care today but the attendance log was not filled out.Plan of Correction: I do usually keep the attendance and will work to keep it recorded at the time they arrive.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-190-A Description: Based on observation, interview, and record review it was determined the Vendor did not maintain information for an infant receiving care.
Evidence:
1. An infant was present and the Vendor stated she was just an emergency care taker. The Vendor did not have information about the child except the Mother's cell number.Plan of Correction: I will make sure to have information for any child that I am asked to watch.
