This annual subsidy inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
An annual subsidy inspection was initiated on November 5, 2020 at which time the vendor was contacted by telephone at 2:20 p.m. to initiate the inspection, a virtual call was conducted beginning at 3:45 p.m. and the inspection concluded on November 12, 2020. The inspector emailed the vendor a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The vendor reported there was one child in care and two children living in the home under the age of 12. The inspector reviewed one child?s record and three adult/household member records submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined an area of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for
Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-B Description: Based on review of documentation, it was determined that not all children's records contained required information. Evidence: Child A, enrollment paperwork signed 8/26/2020, did not have employer name, telephone number and address for parent #1 or parent #2, address for parent #2 or a full address for emergency contact #1. Plan of Correction: To write the information on the student record immediately.
