A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted between 10:00am & 10:33am; there were no children in care. Physical plant, staff records, and emergency procedures were reviewed along with all subsidy health and safety requirements. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Based on record review and staff interview, the vendor did not ensure that caregivers who work directly with children completed the department's health and safety update course annually.
Evidence:
1. The record of staff # 1 did not contain documentation of the Virginia Annual Health and Safety Update.
2. Staff #1 acknowledged that the training update was not completed.Plan of Correction: I will complete the training as soon as possible.
