1. Reviewed the requirement to keep hazardous items stored out of reach of children.
- Comments:

An unannounced subsidy inspection was conducted at 1:25pm. Observed 3 children + vendor. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. An adult household member was also present. 2 children were playing a video game, while a 3rd child was napping on the sofa. Required documents were posted in the home. Areas of non-compliance with the subsidy requirements were found. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-180-B Description: Based on records reviewed, it was determined that a written hard copy of attendance has not been maintained. Evidence: The last date written attendance was recorded was 8/27/22. Plan of Correction: The vendor said she will complete the attendance record, and continue to do so each day.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-190-A Description: Based on interview conducted, it was determined that a record of enrollment information was not completed for each child. Evidence: The 3 children present today did not have enrollment records. Plan of Correction: The vendor said the children present today were last minute requests from neighbors to watch the children for the day, but she will request the paperwork from parents should they return for care.
