8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.

A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 06/13/2022. There were 120 children, ages 4 years-13 years, 11 staff providing direct care, and various support staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed during breakfast, in free choice activities and departing for a fieldtrip. A total of 10 children?s records, 10 staff records, 3 medications, and 6 applicant/agent records were reviewed during the inspection. The inspector discussed the following with staff: fieldtrips, medication and staff training. The inspector arrived at 8:15 am and departed at 11:30 am.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not cover in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
