An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 01/12/2023. There was one child in attendance at the time of the inspection. Required background searches, training certificates and household member information was reviewed. A sample of requirements for daily attendance, child information/records, emergency preparedness planning and supplies were also reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-190-B Description: Based on record review, the vendor did not obtain all information for children's records.
Evidence: Child #1's record did not contain proof of the child's identity.Plan of Correction: The vendor contacted the child's parent during the inspection requesting that the parent bring the birth certificate by Monday.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-210-B Description: Based on record review, caregivers did not undergo TB screenings at least every two years from the date of the initial screening.
Evidence: Caregiver #1's most recent TB screening is dated 09/25/2020.Plan of Correction: I thought I had more time to get it done. I will schedule the appointment.
