8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.

A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 07/14/2022. There were 128 children, ages 4 years-12 years, 12 staff providing direct care, and various support staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed during on a walking fieldtrip, during a large group activity and during lunch. A total of 10 children?s records, 10 staff records, and 3 medication were reviewed during the inspection. The inspector discussed the upcoming expirations with staff. The inspector arrived at 9:35 am and departed at 12:10 pm.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not cover in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable subsidy requirements. No violations were issued.
