Discussed the forms needed for the CPS and SD and located them on the website.

An annual CCE subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on today's date. The center has 93 children in care with 14 direct care staff. All groupings are in ratio. The center has rooms with lots of space and supplies for the children to explore. Observed the children having free play , learning Spanish, pasting and painting and playing outside. The children bring all their food from home . Interaction between staff and children observed in all the groupings. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-2 Description: Based on the review of 26 staff records the RECDC failed to get some of the required background checks for all the staff. Evidence: All of the 26 staff at the center are missing sworn disclosure statements and Child protective service checks. Plan of Correction: We will fill out the paperwork and send it off, we have protect my ministry searches conducted for all out staff.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1716-A Description: Based on interview with director and the review of the handbook the RECDC failed to include some of the required information in the handbook. Evidence: The following information is not disclosed to the parents: The exempt from licensure status and qualification of staff. Plan of Correction: We will add it to our hand book next year and include it in an email that I will send to the parents.

Evidence: The following information is not disclosed to the general public.: Health requirements for staff and that the center is covered by public liability insurance. Plan of Correction: We will add this to parent handbook and our tour package
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-3 Description: Based on the review of the staff records , some staff are living in another state and has not had a search of the central registry done in that state. Evidence: Based on the review of records staff 8 and 9 are living in a neighboring state. Plan of Correction: We will send that request to the states where people are residing.
