An unannounced annual subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 2/10/2023, beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 10:30 am. There were no children in attendance at the time of the inspection. The Inspector reviewed required background searches, caregiver records, training certificates, and household member information. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-D Description: Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not have current cardiopulmonary (CPR) and first aid training.
Evidence: The vendor's CPR and first aid training expired on 1/10/2023.Plan of Correction: I will call again on Monday, January, 13, 2023 and try to make an appointment.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not complete the department's health and safety update course.
Evidence: The vendor record did not contain documentation of the annual 3-hour updated subsidy training course for the years 2021 and 2022.Plan of Correction: I will do the training today.
