An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on February 13, 2023, beginning at 10:00am and ending at 11:00am. There were two (2) children in attendance at the time of the inspection. Required background searches, training certificates and household member information was reviewed. A sample of requirements for daily attendance, child information/records, emergency preparedness planning and supplies were also reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-190-B Description: Based on record review and interview, the child's information did not include proof of the child's identity.
Evidence:
1. The file for child #2 did not have proof of the child's identity.
2. The vendor acknowledged the proof of identity for child #2 was not obtained.Plan of Correction: I will tell the parents and have them bring in the proof of identity.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-390-A-1 Description: Based on observation, children's hands were not washed with soap and running water after toileting.
Evidence: Child #1 hands were not washed after toileting.Plan of Correction: I will be sure to wash their hands each time. Violation was corrected during the inspection.
