An annual CCE subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on today's date. The center has 43 children in care with 6 staff. All groupings are in ratio. The center has rooms with lots of space and supplies for the children to explore. Observed the children having circle time, reading a book, drawing and playing outside. The children bring snacks for the whole class. Children with food allergies bring their own food. Interaction between staff and children observed in all the groupings. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-2 Description: Based on the review of 11 staff records, it was determined that the center failed to get sworn disclosure statements for 10 staff employed at the center. Evidence: The following staff are missing Sworn disclosure statements: A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J. Plan of Correction: We will have the staff fill out the sworn disclosure.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-500-C Description: Based on the review of classrooms during the inspection it was determined that the center failed to stay within the capacity of the religious exempt letter. Evidence: The center has 43 children present today and are approved for 40. Plan of Correction: We have called the building official and requested at new CO, we have added a new classroom since the last CO. We will send in a copy the new CO as soon as we receive it.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-3 Description: Based on the review of 11 staff records, the center failed to get updated Central registry checks for 4 staff. Evidence: The 4 staff had the central register checks done between 2000 and 2013, staff F,G,J,K. Plan of Correction: We will submit new CPS checks for the staff.
