Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/27/2023. The inspector arrived at 10:30 AM and departed at 12:00 PM.There were 88 school aged children present with 12 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined a non-compliance with an applicable standards and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program and discussed with the program director during the exit interview.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-430-I
Description: Based upon observation and staff interview, the facility has not ensured that personal articles are individually assigned.
Evidence:
1. Children's water bottles/cups in two different classrooms were not labeled with the children's names.
2. Staff 1 acknowledged that the bottles/cups did not have the children's names

Plan of Correction: The facility responded with the following:
All staff will be reminded to ensure that the children's names are on their water bottles/cups each day.
