Today an unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 10:00am and 12:00p. There was a total of 42 children with 10 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed doing science activities, painting, playing games outside and other organized activities. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, evacuation drill log and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22.1-289.036-B-2 Description: Based on a review of staff records, 1 out of 4 staff did not submit to fingerprinting as described in subdivision B 2 of ? 19.2-392.02.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2 (doh: 6/12/2023) did not have fingerprints background check results on file at the time of the inspection.Plan of Correction: We will obtain the fingerprints for the staff member immediately and will make sure all new hires have their fingerprints by day 1 of employment moving forward.
