Technical Assistance:
Vendor discussed the difficulty of enrolling into new training courses provided by the County given the Vendor has already completed most trainings offered.

A link for additional trainings will be forwarded to you.

The link for the 10 hour Preservice training and the 3 hour updated training required annually will be emailed to you.

An updated emergency drill log will be emailed to you which will include an area to document shelter in place drills and the annual lock down drill.

Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today. Observed 1 child (1 point) directly supervised by thevendor/provider. Ratio and supervision were in compliance. Child in care was engaged with a video game and creative play in the basement. The child was interacting with the Vendor and the Licensing Inspector while playing with a toy grill set. Snack today was an assortment of nuts and dates. The exit interview was conducted with thevendor/provider. Inspection conducted between 12pm and 1:30pm. Description: Based on Vendor record review, the Virginia Preservice Training was not completed.
Evidence:
Documentation that the 10 Preservice training was completed was not maintained.

Plan of Correction: This training will be completed and the certificate will be maintained in my file.
