Technical assistance was offered related to: completion of injury reports, storage of chemicals, and children's record, background checks.
- Comments:

An annual subsidy inspection was conducted on 8/22/23 from 11:00 am to 12: 00 pm. There were 3 children in care (8 points) and no children living in the home under the age of 12 present with the vendor. The inspector reviewed 3 children's records, 1 caregiver and 1 adult household member record, attendance records and an injury report for one child. The children were observed eating, playing with toys and toileting. There were no medications on site.
Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-170-C Description: Based on staff interview, the vendor did not obtain results of a central registry search for household members.
Evidence:
1. Household member # 1 is 18 years of age.
2. Household member # 2 turned 14 years old a few months ago.
3. The vendor stated that she did not have the results for a central registry search for both household members.Plan of Correction: The vendor is in the process of submitting the searches for both household member.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-190-A Description: Based on staff interview, the vendor did not maintain complete and written attendance for each child enrolled.
Evidence: The vendor stated that she forgot to record written for children in care for 8/21/123.Plan of Correction: Attendance was completed during the inspection. It will be recorded accurately moving forward.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-230-A Description: Based on record review, the vendor did not obtain immunization records for children in care prior to the first day of enrollment.
Evidence: Child # 1s first day of enrollment was 12/3/21. Child # 1's immunization record has not been obtained to this date.Plan of Correction: The immunization record was requested from the parent during the inspection.
