Comments:
An unannounced annual health and safety subsidy inspection was conducted on November 1st, 2023 from 12:15 to 13:35. The vendor was present with 2 children in care. A total of 8 points.4 other household members were present in the home. Observed the vendor caring for the children. Discussed enrollment and local support as well as state support. The vendor would like to care for more children and we discussed how to get the word out that she has spaces.
Lots of supplies and space for the children. A big bag yard is also available for play. Discussed contacting the infant toddler specialists and being part of that training program.
A violation notice was given to the vendor at the same time as this inspection summary, please call me at 703-203-8659 or email me at pernille.brandt@doe.virginia.gov if you have any questions regarding this inspection.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-230-A
Description: Based on the review of two children's records as well as interview with vendor, the vendor failed to get an immunization record for one child before the child started.
Evidence: The inspector reviewed the records for the 2 children in care, child 2 is missing the immunization record and started on 9/10/23.

Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent for the information today. I thought they had emailed it to me but I can not find it. I will ask again.
