Discussion of enrollment, and adult household members who live in the home and that anyone turning 14 years of age would be required to have a CPS check on file.
- Comments:

An annual Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 01/22/2024, between the hours of 3:30 pm to 5 pm. There was (1) child in care (2 points) and (2) children living in the home under the age of 12 (2 points) present with the vendor. The inspector reviewed (3) children?s records and (2) adult household records submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined (1) area of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the vendor.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Based on review and interview, the department's health and safety update course was not completed for this past year.
Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (01/22/2024), a certificate of completion for the annual health and safety update training course for 2023 was not available for review for Subsidy Vendor.
2. The most recent certificate for this annual 3 hour training was dated 08/26/2022.
3. Although the Vendor was able to complete a total of 24.5 hours of annual training during 2023, she stated that she had missed taking the update course for last year.Plan of Correction: The annual health and safety update course will be completed for 2024.
