8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

An in-person initial subsidy inspection was conducted on February 29, 2024. There were no children enrolled as of this date and no children living in the home under the age of 12 present with the vendor. There were no children records available to review. Two adult/household member records were reviewed to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations. The 3 bedroom apartment was inspected, reviewed forms to use for children records, attendance, emergency supplies and emergency drills. The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed by phone but needs to be printed and filed for review.
-Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Evidence: The vendor has not purchased any cots or rest mats.Plan of Correction: Vendor will purchase cots before enrolling any children.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-420-C Description: Based on observation and vendor interview, 911 and poison control number was not posted in a visible place.
