Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-390-F
Description: Based on observation, soiled disposable diapers and wipes were not disposed of in a leak-proof or plastic-lined storage system that is either foot operated or used in such a way that neither the caregiver's hand nor the soiled diaper or wipe touches the exterior surface of the storage system during disposal.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (03/21/2024) the Vendor was using a trash can located out on her balcony for soiled diapers and wipes. The Vendor did not have a foot-operated trash can for this sole purpose.
2. This container was separated by a sliding glass door that the Vendor had to manually open by hand in order to access trash can.

Plan of Correction: A foot-operated trash can will be purchased.
