An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted at 9:53am. Observed 3 children = 5 points with the vendor. Ratios and supervision were incompliance. The children were having creative play - they made homemade lemonade, learned how to make it and the ingredients, were learning to "order and sell" the lemonade by operating a cash register, reading numbers and counting play money, as well as, serving the lemonade to one another. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Required caregiver training was completed. No areas of non-compliance with subsidy requirements and laws reviewed were found. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov
